Fully automated from a roll of punched paper, this wonderful model crane by Griffith P. Taylor is fully described and illustrated. Submitted to Meccano Ltd at Binns Road, in 1938, but previously unpublished, it became CQ’s first hardback book (monochrome) but sold out many years ago. For those not in possession of the original, this 70-page digital soft-cover economy version is a modestly priced alternative.
